Dansk Signal Materiel has since January 1986 been the market leader in Denmark in the field of sales and rental of traffic control equipment to counties, municipalities and builders etc. We are currently 24 associates in the company’s various departments.

For the first eight years the company operated from rented premises, but in December 1994 a large office and production building was inaugurated. It all started when the company’s two directors, Erik Christensen and Christian Clausen, felt the need to become independent after several years in the business.

The company has developed smoothly and steadily and now comprises the production of all types of road signs, advertising signs, transfers etc. In addition we produce galvanized supports and scaffolds, print plates for lighting, reflector garlands, wood barriers and land surveying poles.

The rental department for traffic control equipment provides 24 hour service for the whole of Denmark and the company possesses the foremost expertise with regard to establishing barriers in the case of bridge and roadwork, and has contributed to the construction of several of the country’s largest motorways.

Combining trade, rental and manufacturing activities has been a success, and a significant export department has also evolved through the years.

With regards to import, most of the products are bound by sole agent clauses, which also have contributed to the leading position on the market because only the very best products are imported.
