Birstaverken AB, which was established in 1961, is an engineering company with its own hot-dip galvanizing facility.

We manufacture and sell pipe fixtures (in accordance with the SSG standard), stairs, gratings, road and bridge railings and modular railings. We also provide secondary services (mounting, project management, etc) for these products.

Our production facilities and head office is in Sundsvall. There are local sales offices Arboga, Katrineholm and Borås.

Our business idea is that “We shall cover the Swedish market’s demand for fast and secure supplies, secondary services and solutions in the product areas of steel stairs, grating products and road and bridge railings”.

We have long experience of manufacture and intend to be a supplier of the future.
