The business award are a distinction to companies that promotes the economy life in the council, in example by establishing new and secure workplaces though new ways of thinking, development and marketing new products.

There are many criteria's which separately qualifies a company to the business award in Ørsta Council, and only on rare occasions all conditions are fulfilled at the same time.
- SafeRoad AS fulfills the criteria's at once, that has to be rare, said a proud mayor, Gudny Fagerhol, as she handed out the award in the council meeting Thursday afternoon.
There have been made focus at following qualities of the award winner by the allocation:
- SafeRoad's mission to prevent traffic accidents
- SafeRoad's objective to become a European leader as supplier of traffic security solutions
- The employer are known to let the individual grow within the system
- The company educates their employees and take care of professional development
The award consists of a picture taken by Gunnar Wangen and a cash gift of NOK 10.000.
